ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Experience in donor database management (Raiser’s Edge preferred). Ability to read and understand financial statements.

* Prepares correspondence. Communicates regularly with board members, staff and cluster management to disseminate and obtain information.

* Supports unit board’s annual meetings by preparing presentation packets, arranging for and setting-up meeting rooms, ordering food, taking minutes, arranging for required equipment and clean-up.

* Supports fund raisers annually, including preparing marketing fliers, brochures, press kits, presentation materials, invoices, and thank-you letters. Monitors office supplies and orders when low.

* Answers phone and responds to requests for information. Prepares weekly administrative correspondence to unit boards is timely, accurate and consistent. Receives, verifies and records monies for deposit from clubs within cluster.

* Helps complete applications for grants; maintains records and tracks performance. Maintains database to track actual expenses against budget. Maintains database for donor tracking.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Education: Associates degree in Business Administration or related field.

Experience: Two or more years related work experience required.

Skills: Excellent communication (verbal and written), spelling, grammar, phone and inter-personal skills. Must be skilled in use of Microsoft Office software/platforms. Must be detail oriented and organized, able to prioritize, meet deadlines and proof work. 10-key by touch and typing 55+ wpm.

Combined education and experience equivalent to (2) years of college and the required minimum number of (2) years of related experience considered. Equivalent experience must reflect expertise in the skills, knowledge and competencies required for the posted opportunity.
